Convert Any YouTube Channel into a Podcast Feed
Some of the best podcast-style content lives on YouTube — but YouTube wasn't built for listening. YouCaster bridges the gap: subscribe to any channel and listen like it's a podcast, with all the features you'd expect.
Why podcast listeners end up on YouTube
A lot of creators never release an RSS feed. Their interviews, deep dives, and weekly shows live exclusively on YouTube. If you want to follow them, you're stuck watching — or paying for Premium to at least play it in the background.
YouCaster solves this by treating any YouTube channel as a podcast. You subscribe, new videos appear automatically as episodes, and you listen through a familiar podcast-style interface.
What it feels like to use
Open YouCaster, search for a creator by name or @handle, and subscribe. From that point on, it works exactly like a podcast app:
- New videos arrive as episodes in your feed
- Tap play — audio continues in the background
- Lock screen and notification controls work as expected
- Connects to car Bluetooth or earbuds seamlessly
- Resume where you left off
Works especially well for
Interview shows
Long-form conversations where visuals don't add much
News & commentary
Daily or weekly updates from journalists and analysts
Tech explainers
Deep dives where you don't need to watch to understand
Language learning
Channels where listening is the whole point
Business & finance
Earnings breakdowns, market commentary, founder stories
How is this different from a YouTube RSS hack?
YouTube does expose public RSS feeds, and some podcast apps can import them. But the audio quality is low, playback is unreliable, and there's no dedicated listening experience. YouCaster is built specifically for this use case — the interface, playback engine, and episode management are all designed for audio-first listening.
Available on Android
